Brooklyn handed the Cubs their first three game losing streak of the season as Chick Fraser had a hard time handling the Superbas.  He gave up five runs on eight hits and three walks with six strikeouts in the loss.

Frank Chance was the hitting star in a game that saw just six Cubs hits.  He went two for four with a double and he scored one of the Cubs two runs.
