Cubs Single Out Eight Runs for Third Straight Win

Cubs 8, Reds 5  (35-20)

Chick Fraser gave up five runs on eleven hits but because the hitters came through, he escaped with a win.  He finished with two walks and he struck out four in the win.

Joe Tinker singled twice and scored two runs in the win.  Jimmy Slagle and Harry Steinfeldt both singled twice and scored a run.
